To elaborate on the Magisterium of the Catholic Church is our mission on Plinthos (Gk. "brick"); and to do so anonymously, so that, like any brick in the wall, we might do our little part in the strength of the structure of humanity almost unnoticed.

The Matron of a Brothel is no Virgin
That is my translation of a (Spanish) rebuttal to those who would defend the purported innocence of a leader who maintains, supports, defends and promotes corrupt subordinates. The argument for Castro was: "He is good. Those under him are bad." That is bad logic.
A Bishop, a Pastor, a father of a family, each must be vigilant and is accountable for all the corruption he neglects to correct. Qui tacet consentire videtur. (He who is silent is taken to agree--especially if he is in charge!)
A Castro cannot be innocent. You are responsible for every grave action done under your watch.
This was a key idea in the Holy Father's message to the German Parliament: leaders who do not implement true justice are just a band of robbers. Church leaders too should reflect on that historic discourse as applied to their own exercise of authority.
La matrona de un bayú no es virgen! is how the Cubans say it.
N..B. Amid LA Sins a Call for Saints. Penitence and personal holiness is the only sufficient means to reestablish lost integrity. Everyone needs Confession! frequent Confession.
