Routine Airport Civil Rights Violations

"Big Brother" is here and watching and recording your every move, and what is most disturbing, no one seems to mind.

Take flying, for example. There are legally required violations of everyone's:

  • anonymity
  • privacy (unwarranted searches, x-rays, pat downs)
  • private property (confiscation of goods without any system of reimbursement)
  • economy (the price war games)
  • taxation (exorbitant taxes and fees frequently amounting to over 100% increase to the real price of the ticket!)
  • contract (time changes and cancellations with no compensation)
  • ticket ownership (cannot cancel, change, transfer to another, etc. causing unjust surrender of purchased service)
All this in the name of "security."

The best "security" is the consistent and constant defense of each citizens fundamental civil liberties.

Why doesn't the ACLU do something about this and about the cameras on all our streets, etc., etc., etc.!
