Unabashed and Proper Use of the Amice

Notice how the Holy Father today wears the amice for the Chrism Mass covering his whole neck without fear,...not tucked in,...not hidden. Bravo!

   Contrast that with the concelebrating clergy, the majority of which are without the amice and with street clothes hanging out in every form of sloppiness (and without chasibles!); and the few who do wear the amice wear it as if not wearing it, as if it were the forbidden liturgical garment.

   Wear your amice without fear! It looks good! It's part of the liturgical suit! Class!
