The Royal Wedding of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia

N.B. The newly weds chanting the Pater in Latin! and all of the major sung Mass parts and the other singing is in Latin, in great choral settings.

Note also the special Spanish Saints invoked during the eucharistic prayer are Saint Fernando, Saint Teresa of Jesus (Avila), and Saint Isidore.

Kneeling for the nuptual blessing. Kneeling to receive communion. Don't know why everyone is standing for the consecration, etc.! There is a great disconnect here, typical of the Novus Ordo, even at royal weddings!

The reigning Queen (Philip's mother) kisses the bishop's ring at the kiss of peace.

The bishop's sermon is worth a listen: "Amor saca amor."

Especially moving is his closing invocation of the saints of Spain which he begins with that statement: "Love brings out love!" (minute 1:32:20) upon recalling and in response to the terrorist attack on Spain in that year 2004.
