Cooperatores Veritatis
Traditional clergy and Catholics are quite expert in the Truth but at times negligent in their zeal for Cooperation!
Cooperate in the Truth! Strive to work together with the others!
And, in the present Pontificate it is the will of God that we put our emphasis upon this cooperating! If we do that, we will keep our jobs and conquer the world!
Serve the Lord with your intelligence, to save your skin and to serve others in the truth. Ensure your efficacy, if you can! with all your wit!
Matthew 10:16 Behold I send you as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be ye therefore wise as serpents and simple as doves. 17But beware of men.
Remember, Ratzinger gave communion in the hand until he became Pope! And only then did he insist on kneeling and on the tongue as the proper posture to receive.
Use common sense to serve the Lord. Don't try to do more than you can actually achieve! Remember that even a man like Ratzinger wisely recognizes his limits and shrinks back when it is necessary, without sin.
N. B. Three things that bring great peace.
Imitation of Christ, III, 23: 1-7
Strive, My Son, to ...
1. ...Do another's will rather than thine own...
2. ...Choose always to have less rather than more...
3. ...Seek always after the lowest place, and to be subject to all...
4. ...Wish always and pray that the will of God be fulfilled in thee...
...Behold, such a man as this entereth into the inheritance of peace and quietness.
E.g. Even if your bishop or pastor or other competent ecclesial authority expects you to break Canon Law (except regarding ius divinum), if they will destroy you for your stubbornness in this, you should usually acquiesce in that instance (albeit without agreeing) for the good of the Church! Kindly state your case if you must (yet even there use common sense, for the glory of God and the exaltation of Holy Mother Church) but obey. You will not sin if they make you break the human laws of the Church and the Liturgy (ius humanum) as long as you do not break the law of God (viz. the ten commandments)! That is called cooperating in the truth!
Having said that, some people are called to be martyrs, even for Canon Law and Liturgical Law, but not everyone is called to that particular type of martyrdom. Don't make yourself a martyr before the time appointed by God. Christ might need you for something later, to bring the Truth to the world through your long suffering cooperation!
Christ escaped death many times, until His Hour, appointed by the Father!
Luke 16:8 "And the lord commended the unjust steward, forasmuch as he had done wisely: for the children of this world are wiser in their generation than the children of light."
