Catholic Elements of Coronation

Noteworthy Catholic details: Saint Edward's Chair and his Crown (Catholic Confessor Saint); the paten, bible and chalice carried in procession. It is also interesting that they cry "God save the king!" There is in all of this a strong allusion to Christ the King to Whom all earthy power is beholden! He is the only perfect Ruler and Lord of all, and the Source of all Right! A very Catholic and Papal concept.
