The Real Von Trapp Family

Married in Salzburg in 1927, the same year Ratzinger was born.

Trained by the priest family chaplain.

They sang for the pope, and were invited to sing for Adolf Hitler himself whom they strongly opposed!

They left Austria in 1938 as refugees together with Father Franz Wasner, their priest choir master, becoming the famous Trapp Family Singers.
