In the Apostolic Age the Church abandoned Hebrew while remaining rooted in holy Jerusalem (the Hebrew God: Jesus Christ).
In the fourth century She abandoned Greek while keeping Her attachment to Athens (Greek philosophy).
In the twenty-first century She is presently abandoning Latin while standing eternally firm in Rome (Roman law/hierarchy and German prowess).
The Church from Jerusalem went to Rome, to Aachen, and now, with Francis and Leo, She shifts to Catholic America: finem terrae, in Spanish and in English, the first fruits of the Holy Roman Empire and the Hapsburgs.
Today our Pope is Leo XIV. It would be very logical that he be succeeded by a Pope Pius XIII. Then it might be time for a Pope John Paul III!, half a century away, when the Enlightenment might finally begin to see the Light of Christ, when Vatican II might finally bear good fruit, firmly standing on the unambiguous Catholic Tradition for the whole world to see and understand and love the mystery and the glory of Christ our Savior.
